"Writing erotic is not about smut or unbelievable fantasies in Hustler, pulled from the latest porno.
Erotica is very hard to write, and at the same time is very stimulating."
Although she routinely blames her birth sign of Scorpio as the reason to her madness, Kwame was not always this open and
honest. She was born during the 70s in Chicago into the arms of her loving and vert strict mother, a single Chicago Public
School teacher , who has had over 36 years of dedication and service, and who taught her the importance of her history, her
education and her spiritual being. Kwame grew up in the Calumet Heights neighborhood where she enjoyed a healthy childhood.
It was during her years of attending Kenwood Academy that Kwame developed her love of poetry, writing for the local student
poetry journal, and because of her style and sweet mannerisms, the nickname "Gypsy Woman" stuck and would throughout her life.
Her poetry didnt stop as she continued to mature in her subjects. During her college years, Kwame was first introduced to
her first book of decadence from one of her favorite novelists, Anne Rices The Claming of Sleeping Beauty.
"I dont think it was until years later, in the midst of being mother
and coming into the beginnings of self awareness, I began my writings all over again. I worked on mostly fiction with no specfic
genre but it was after I received a gift of erotic, namely The Pearl and the Story of O from my husband is when
I started to research and research the world of erotic, what turns things on and what brings people together."
Currently, these days, Kwame splits her time between working as a Counselor at a pregistous university located in
Chicagoland, being wife and mother to her 9-year old and 3-year old, as well as dedicating her life to
her home church and family, St. Stephen's Lutheran church of Chicago where she serves on Church Council and Women's Ministry.
She is also finishing her academic career, pursuing a degree in Psychology to hopefully be finished in 2006-2007.
